Lee Elementary Demolition

When a fire destroyed the historic Lee Elementary School building Tampa mourned the loss of such a historic space. 

It was imperative that as much of the building was preserved as possible while the way was cleared for the building to be reconstructed. 

Kimmins was brought in to carefully remove the fire damaged portions of the building while maintaining the integrity of the outer walls so  that the building could be rebuilt while including part of the existing historic structure. 

The rebuilt school building with historic facade is set to re-open in the Fall of 2020.
