About Kimmins Contracting Corp.
Leading the Way Since 1923
Since 1923 we have developed a wealth of knowledge that allows us to complete any project, solve any problem or even demolish any building safely and effectively. Our level of excellence in our work is a result of this determination to be the best and know the most about what we are doing.
Every day, every project. At Kimmins Safety is the No. 1 priority. Nothing is more important than the continued well-being of our people — in the field and at the office. We take this responsibility seriously and have worked for years to implement a top-to-bottom, safe-at-all-costs commitment and culture. Read more about it here.
Our passion for community reaches into our team where we work to make everyone feel like they are cared for and an integral part of our work. Our approach to community is holistic — doing everything we can to support our neighbors and the community of which we are proud to be a part.
William Kimmins founded the company in 1923 with a focus on community and excellence. Kimmins merged with The Williams Family group in the 1980s when it was moved to Tampa, FL and has grown into one of the region’s premier civil and demolition contractors. In 2000 Kimmins changed our business philosophy to a customer driven approach. This change in direction has brought us to perfect our larger design-build and CM @ Risk work, which has built our organization into the region’s leading urban civil design builder.
